As part of our commitment to preserve Brockwell Park for everyone to enjoy, we’re canvassing views on August’s Sunfall music festival.
Now in its second year in Brockwell Park, Sunfall runs from 12:00 to 22:00 on Saturday 12 August and is billed as a ‘new festival for London’: ‘Party together by day, then continue into the night at one of our many late night club sessions.’
We’d like to hear from you if you have views and experiences relating to possible disruption. This may be noise (a concern last year), restricted access to the park, crowds or any other issues of concern before, during or after Sunfall. Please leave your comments below or use the Contact Us section of this website. Thank you.
I live near to Brockwell Park and before the Sunfall Festival had even started I was dismayed at the damage done to the grass by lights on stands being put in place. Large tracks of mud were left where grass had been churned up by equipment thoughtlessly being dragged into place. The noise levels were high I could hear it in my garden but the main issue I had with the Festival was the high level of rubbish and detritus left behind which still had not been cleared up when I went to the lido on Wednesday morning days after Sunfall. It seems the whole event was very badly organised with little regard for the effect on the local community and enviroment.
